AutoTiers Privacy Policy

Overview

AutoTiers is a fantasy football draft tool you can use without creating an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no OAuth: you do not connect a Yahoo, Google, Sleeper, or ESPN account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any fantasy-platform credentials. This policy describes the limited data the app actually handles.

Information Stored in Your Browser

Your preferences stay on your device. Settings such as your scoring format and rule configuration, your favorite players and teams, your saved profiles, your draft-board progress, and your light/dark theme are stored in your browser using localStorage. This information stays in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser's site data for AutoTiers removes it.

Information We Receive

To do its job, the app sends a small amount of non-identifying data to our servers:

Tier generation. When you generate a tier list, your browser sends the scoring settings and rule configuration you chose — for example scoring format, league size, and roster options. These are draft-configuration choices, not personal information, and are not linked to any identity.
Player search. When you search for a player to add to your favorites, your search text is sent so we can return matching players.
Feedback. If you use the in-app feedback form, we receive and store the message and category you submit so we can read and act on it. Feedback is anonymous — no account, name, or email address is attached. Please include personal information in a feedback message only if you choose to.
Server logs. Like most websites, our servers process technical information such as your IP address to operate the service, prevent abuse, and rate-limit requests. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. Because AutoTiers has no accounts and collects no fantasy-platform credentials or contact information, there is no account or league data to share. The limited data described above is handled only by the infrastructure providers that host and operate AutoTiers (such as Amazon Web Services) and by our advertising partner, as described below.

Advertising & Cookies

AutoTiers displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and personalize ads and to measure their performance. This may involve processing data such as your IP address and information about your device and how you use the site.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are shown a consent prompt (a Google-certified consent management platform) before personalized ads are served. You can accept or reject personalized advertising there, and you can change your choice later.

You can learn how Google uses data from sites that display its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can manage or opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads.

Data Retention

Preferences stored in your browser remain until you clear your browser's site data — there is nothing on our servers to delete because that data never leaves your device. Feedback messages are kept as operational records so we can review and act on them. Since AutoTiers has no accounts, there is no account to close; you can remove all locally stored data at any time by clearing site data for AutoTiers in your browser.
